How it started
Our story begins with Juana Laurel. Born in Cusco, Peru in 1965. Juana immigrated to the United States at 35 years old with only 30 dollars in her pocket.
In 2010, she opened her retail shop in the heart of San Francisco, Mission Neighborhood and named it Qosqo Maky and her husband dedicated half of their shop and crafting new products. Wanting to share her Peruvian heritage, she begun working with local producers from Cusco to bring their items to the United States
